EFFECT OF A PHENOTHIAZINE TRANQUILLIZER ON PLASMA MELANOPHORE-STIMULATING ACTIVITY IN SPANISH GOATS

A phenothiazine tranquillizer was administered intravenously to Spanish goats. An increase of plasma melanophore-stimulating activity ranging from 300 to 2000% above base level was observed usually within 15 min after injection.
